floWolf at Appian World 2026

Appian World 2026 in Orlando was, without a doubt, the most impressive edition of the event we've attended. If Denver last year marked the beginning of a new chapter, Orlando confirmed that Appian is now writing it at full speed.
floWolf returned to Appian World stronger than ever, reinforcing our presence as a key global Appian partner and bringing back the energy, the connections and the conviction that this platform is the backbone of the next generation of enterprise automation.
Two of us made the trip from the floWolf pack this year. And from the first moment we landed in Orlando, it was clear this was going to be something special.
🚀 Day Zero: Kennedy Space Center
The experience began even before the event officially opened. A day before the Partner Summit, Roberto Serrano from Appian, the great architect of this entire experience for the Iberia & LATAM delegation, organized a visit to the Kennedy Space Center.

Standing next to the Apollo spacecraft and the engineering marvels that took humanity to the Moon is something that stops you in your tracks. These machines were built with slide rules and sheer determination and they changed everything.
For a team that spends its days thinking about the next frontier of AI and automation, being surrounded by the physical evidence of what humans can achieve when they push hard enough was exactly the kind of perspective you need from time to time. A perfect way to arrive at an event about the future.
🤝 Day One: The Partner Summit
Monday was reserved for the Partner Summit, a dedicated day for Appian's global partner network and one of the most valuable parts of the entire week.

Appian used this session to reinforce key messages for its partners: the strategic direction of the platform, the go-to-market priorities for the year ahead and the growing role that partners play in delivering AI-Native solutions to enterprise clients.
The message was clear and energizing: Appian is doubling down on its partner ecosystem. The platform is evolving fast, and so is the opportunity for partners who are ready to lead.
At floWolf, we left the Partner Summit with a sharper sense of where we fit in that ecosystem and a renewed commitment to bringing Appian's most advanced capabilities to our clients.
🎤 Matt Calkins Sets a New Bar
The opening keynote by Matt Calkins, CEO and founder of Appian, was electrifying. If his keynote in Denver was passionate, the one in Orlando was visionary at a completely different scale.

Matt made one thing unmistakably clear: Appian is no longer evolving incrementally, it is leaping. The platform is being reimagined from the ground up around AI, with intelligence embedded not as a feature, but as the very fabric of how processes are designed, executed and improved.
His message resonated deeply with everything we believe at floWolf: AI is not a layer you add on top. It is the foundation you build from. And Appian is proving that conviction at enterprise scale.
💡 Product Showcase: An Exponential Leap
The Product Showcase session was, for us, the defining moment of the event. What Appian presented wasn't an incremental update: it was an exponential evolution of the platform, with AI embedded at every critical point of process automation.

Appian Composer — Redesigned for the AI Era
The evolution of Appian Composer was jaw-dropping. What was already a powerful tool for building applications conversationally has now become a full AI-native development environment. Appian has integrated the ability to use Claude Code to generate custom interfaces and fully integrated processes, directly within the Appian execution platform.
This is a game-changer. Developers and business users can now leverage the most advanced AI coding capabilities in the world, without leaving the Appian ecosystem. The result: faster builds, richer interfaces and processes truly tailored to each business context.
DocCenter — Intelligence Meets Documentation
DocCenter is Appian's bold answer to one of the most persistent challenges in enterprise automation: unstructured data. With DocCenter, documents are no longer passive assets. They become active inputs in automated workflows, processed, classified and acted upon by AI in real time.
The implications for industries like financial services, insurance and public sector are enormous. At floWolf, we already see powerful applications for our clients across these verticals.
Agent Studio — Autonomous Work at Scale
Agent Studio has matured significantly since its debut in Denver. Appian's vision for agentic AI is now fully operational: intelligent agents that autonomously handle complex, multi-step tasks across business processes, collaborating with each other and with human teams in a controlled, auditable way.
This isn't AI as a chatbot. This is AI as a colleague, one that works inside your processes, respects your governance rules and delivers measurable outcomes.
Legacy Application Modernization — The Hidden Opportunity
One of the most strategically significant announcements of the showcase was Appian's strengthened approach to Legacy Application Modernization, a line of business led by Elliot Gerson, a true expert in this space and a friend of floWolf.
Across every industry, organizations are sitting on decades of mission-critical applications built on outdated architectures: systems that are expensive to maintain, impossible to extend and completely disconnected from modern AI capabilities. Until now, modernizing them meant years of risky, costly migration projects.
Appian changes that equation. By acting as an intelligent orchestration layer on top of existing systems, Appian enables organizations to modernize their application landscape without ripping and replacing what already works. Legacy systems remain in place, but are now connected, enriched and extended through Appian's AI-native platform.
The result is a faster path to modernization, lower risk and immediate business value. For floWolf, this is one of the most compelling conversations we can bring to our clients today.
🎢 The Party: Universal Studios Like You've Never Seen It
After two intense days of sessions and conversations, Appian delivered a party that no one will forget anytime soon.

Appian closed Universal Studios Orlando exclusively for Appian World attendees. We had full access to two iconic areas: New York, New York and Diagon Alley, the magical world of Harry Potter.
No queues. No waiting. Just a few thousand Appian enthusiasts walking straight onto rides that normally have two-hour lines, exploring Hogsmeade, sipping Butterbeer and living the full Wizarding World experience as if it had been built just for us.
It was extraordinary. Watching an entire community of enterprise tech professionals unleash their inner Harry Potter fan was something to behold, and a reminder that the best communities are the ones where work and fun blur together in the best possible way.
🙏 Thank You, Appian Iberia & LATAM
None of this experience would have been what it was without the incredible team at Appian Iberia & LATAM: Roberto Serrano, Oscar García, Joaquín Ferrer, Julio Campoy and Miguel González, who together orchestrated every detail of the week with the kind of care and dedication that makes you feel like a guest, not just a partner.
From the Kennedy Space Center on day zero to the last conversation at Universal Studios, every moment was thoughtfully organized. The dinners, the introductions, the sessions: nothing was left to chance.
But the Appian ecosystem is much more than just one team. It was a genuine pleasure to share this experience with fellow partners who make the community what it is: Jose Javier Lainez and Fernando Font from Indra, Beatriz López and Alex Cuéllar from NTT Data, and Alfredo Montilla from Stemdo. These are the people who, beyond the collaboration, remind you that the best ecosystems are built on trust, shared purpose and good company.
Being part of the Appian partner ecosystem means being part of a community that looks after each other. And everyone we met in Orlando embodies that spirit. Thank you all. We are thankful to grow alongside you.
🐺 floWolf & Appian: The Next Chapter

We left Orlando with more conviction than ever. Appian's platform is evolving in exactly the direction that our floWolf Play Actions® were designed for: AI-native, process-centric and built to deliver value from day one.
Last year in Denver, we saw the vision take shape. In Orlando, we saw it become reality.
The technology vision is clear, the direction is right and the product roadmap points exactly where enterprise automation needs to go. Now comes the part that matters most: delivery. The announcements made in Orlando need to land in the platform, version after version, throughout 2026. That is where vision becomes value, and where floWolf will be there to bring it to our clients the moment it does.
The next chapter of enterprise automation is being written right now. And at floWolf, we're writing it with Appian.
It's flowtime! 🐺🐺
